A leaking or sagging gutter sends water exactly where you don't want it — down your walls, behind your fascias, and into your home. We repair leaking joints, cracked sections, sagging runs and loose brackets, and give you honest advice on whether repair or replacement makes better sense. Free quotes, fully insured.
Most gutter problems are repairable without full replacement — a leaking union joint, a cracked section or a sagging run with a failed bracket can usually be fixed quickly and cost-effectively. Catching these issues early prevents the water damage that makes problems far more expensive.
When we clear gutters we inspect the full system and report any issues honestly. If we find problems, we'll quote for the repair — and we'll tell you clearly if we think a section is beyond economical repair and replacement makes more sense. We won't push unnecessary replacement if a repair will do the job properly.
We stock common gutter profiles and fittings so many repairs can be completed on the same visit as a clearing job — saving you time and a second call-out charge.
Get a Free Repair QuoteWe inspect the entire gutter system — joints, brackets, downpipes and outlets — and photograph any issues found.
Gutters cleared of debris before repair work — you can't properly assess or repair a blocked gutter.
We explain exactly what we found, what can be repaired and where replacement makes more economic sense. Your choice.
Agreed repairs completed on the same visit where possible — joints resealed, sections replaced, brackets refixed.
System flushed to confirm repairs are watertight and draining correctly. You check the result before we leave.
Water dripping or running from a joint during rain, visible cracks or splits in sections, gutters pulling away from the fascia, or water staining on walls below the gutter line are all signs of a problem. You may also notice moss or damp on interior walls near the eaves. If in doubt, a gutter inspection during a clear visit will identify any issues.
It depends on the age, condition and extent of the damage. A single leaking joint on otherwise sound guttering is clearly worth repairing. If the whole system is brittle, misaligned and failing in multiple places, replacement is often more cost-effective in the long run. We give you an honest, unbiased assessment — we won't push replacement if repair is the right answer, and we won't waste your money on repeated repairs if the system is beyond it.
The rubber or neoprene seal inside union joints deteriorates over time — typically after 15–20 years on older uPVC systems, sometimes sooner if the guttering has been under stress or the seal has dried out. Joint leaks can often be fixed by removing the joint union, cleaning both surfaces, replacing the seal and refitting — a straightforward repair that stops the leak permanently.
In most cases yes — we stock the most common uPVC gutter profiles (half-round, square, ogee) and can source others. Where we can't achieve an exact match, we'll discuss options with you before proceeding. Most modern profiles are available from builders' merchants if needed for less common sections.
Often yes — if we identify a repair during the clearing visit and have the required parts on the van, we can fix it on the spot. We'll always quote for any additional work and confirm you want to proceed before carrying it out. This saves you a separate call-out and gets everything sorted in one visit.
